Kolachi Ocean Mall Rooftop
Kolachi has become synonymous with open-air dining because of its location at Do Darya. However, the restaurant has another very premium location.
Nestled on the rooftop of Ocean Mall, Kolachi offers an open-air dining experience unlike no other. Offering all the same specialties available at Do Darya, the only difference is whether you prefer sea or sky.
We recommend making a reservation before going. Definitely try the Paneer Reshmi Handi and Sulemani Karahi, along with Kolachi’s special mutton ribs.

Avari Sky BBQ Rooftop Restaurant
Avari is one of the few top hotels in Karachi. Among Karachi’s dining options, the most premium experience can be enjoyed at the Avari Sky BBQ buffet. Among a myriad of restaurants at Avari Hotel, Sky BBQ is a rooftop restaurant in Karachi worth visiting!
Located on the top floor of Avari Towers Karachi, the restaurant offers a live BBQ buffet. The menu features traditional BBQ delights, including tikka, chops, fish, and prawns, coupled with a selection of continental main courses.
Going through the menu, we quite fancy the Lahori fried fish and Coconut fish curry.
BBQ Tonight Rooftop
The definitive BBQ restaurant in Karachi, BBQ Tonight, started in 1988. Over the years, the restaurant has expanded its operations globally with locations in Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, Dhaka, and more.
The restaurant’s Clifton branch was it’s first and remains the flagship location. The restaurant covers three floors, with the top floor featuring rooftop open-air dining. Depending on promotions and the day of the week, you can get ala carte or buffet on the rooftop.
Our favorites at BBQ Tonight are the mutton ribs and chicken malai boti. Both very tender and with balanced flavors.

Springs Rooftop Cafe
Springs Mart started only a few years ago at Bukhari Commercial, DHA. Spread out over three floors, the supermarket very quickly became the go-to place for groceries in DHA.
Now, Springs has launched its cafe with both indoor and outdoor dining. While the indoor section may be closed due to lockdown, we don’t see why you would want to sit inside.
This rooftop restaurant in Karachi overlooks the DHA area. Comfortable seating and great views await you at Springs Cafe. The menu features pizzas, rice bowls, pasta, and various breakfast and beverage items.
Special Mention – Do Darya
While not exactly rooftop, the food strip at Do Darya offers similar open-air dining, and it’s by the sea. The Arabian Sea’s peaceful sound makes this experience on par with that of a skyline view from rooftop restaurants. Some prominent restaurants to check out at Do Darya are Kolachi, Sajjad, and Kababjees.
